Latin America can be the leading region for agrifood regeneration. Producers, researchers, companies, communities, governments, funders, and other stakeholders are committing to regenerative agriculture and livestock ranching as a real, actionable pathway toward ecosystem restoration, food security, and climate resilience.

Regeneradores was born as a regional community to connect, facilitate knowledge exchange, and strengthen collaboration among networks, organizations, and stakeholders from diverse sectors of agrifood regeneration in Latin America.

Why Regeneradores?

Despite the growth of regenerative initiatives across different territories, gaps remain in consolidating greater alignment among diverse stakeholders to facilitate the transition toward regenerative production systems.

Through Regeneradores, we seek to bridge a broad multi-stakeholder ecosystem that accelerates collaboration, amplifies learnings, and connects initiatives capable of transforming Latin America's agrifood landscapes.

Who can join?

Regeneradores is an open and diverse community. It is designed for all individuals and organizations that believe in and work for an agrifood future where production and nature prosper together.

Farmers and ranchers who are practicing or wish to transition toward regenerative systems.

Associations, networks, and communities of practice already operating at the municipal, national, or regional level.

Research centers and academia that study and generate scientific evidence on regeneration.

Civil society organizations that support transformation processes in rural areas.

Food companies, agribusinesses, and retailers committed to regenerative value chains.

Funders and impact investors who enable the regenerative transition.

Youth, women leaders, and communities that have the most to gain from the future of food systems.

Policymakers who create enabling conditions to scale regeneration.

The Roadmap

The construction of this community will be a participatory and evolutionary process. These are the stages we propose to guide our mission:

1

Stage 1: Founding Core

Form a promoting core that drives the strategic alignment of the community and ensures its long-term operational and financial sustainability.

2

Stage 2: Call for Participation

Expand the membership base by convening communities and representative organizations from multiple sectors, value chains, and geographies across Latin America with diverse participation roles.

3

Stage 3: Co-Design

Activate regional, local, and thematic working groups to design collaborative initiatives that strengthen our three C's: connections, knowledge, and collaboration.

4

Stage 4: Activation

Initial activation of the community through recurring gatherings, rituals, and events that consolidate cohesion, belonging, and participation dynamics.

5

Stage 5: Flourishing

Evolve the community through continuous cycles of learning and participatory design, expanding its capabilities in connections, knowledge, and collaboration

We are looking for visionary organizations and communities that want to participate from the outset, form part of the group that will shape this regional platform, and lead the regenerative transition in their territories and value chains.
