From July 1 to 3, 2025, Cali will be the epicenter of a movement transforming the Latin American countryside. Producers, investors, scientists, community leaders, and government representatives will gather at the 2025 Regeneradores Summit, an event that promises to be a watershed moment for regenerative agriculture and livestock ranching in Latin America.
This three-day convening will serve as an essential space not only to share knowledge but also to accelerate the transition toward regenerative systems, restore the land, revitalize local economies, reconnect people with the landscapes that sustain them, and cultivate a future where life can flourish.
Meet the leaders driving this transformation:
The voices of the 2025 Regeneradores Summit in Latin America represent diverse approaches to advancing toward sustainable systems.

Javier Peña is a Spanish communicator and the creator of “Hope!”, an environmental solutions advocacy platform with over 2.5 million followers. He has traveled across 21 countries documenting stories of regeneration and hope.

Paula Caballero is a Colombian economist, widely recognized for championing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework at the United Nations. She currently leads the Latin America office for The Nature Conservancy.

Nicolás Olea is a physician, professor at the University of Granada, and an environmental health expert. He has spent decades researching the effects of pollutants on human health and is the author of the book “Libérate de tóxicos” (Free Yourself from Toxics).

Pablo Tittonell is an agronomist and holds a PhD in agricultural sciences. He has served as a researcher and professor of agroecology in Europe and Latin America, focusing on resilient and sustainable agricultural system.

Laura Ortiz Montemayor is a Mexican economist and the founder of SVX Mexico and Regenera Ventures. She specializes in impact investing and regenerative finance, driven by the purpose of making capital serve life.

Willem Ferwerda is an ecologist and the founder of Commonland. He developed the 4 Returns framework for large-scale degraded ecosystem restoration, integrating ecological, social, financial, and personal inspiration benefit.

Melina Ángel is a specialist in biomimicry and biosystems thinking. For over a decade, she has facilitated regenerative processes with individuals, organizations, and territories. She is the director of Biomimicry Colombia and co-founder of the Biomimicry Iberoamerica Network.

Ronald Sistek is a Chilean consultant, professor, and researcher. He has developed methodologies for organizational regeneration and supports cultural transformation processes within organizations, companies, and communities.

Antonio José Piñeros is a fourth-generation cattle rancher in Colombia, president of ACOGANAR, and founder of the Regenerative Ranching School in Tamalá. He is dedicated to transforming livestock ranching toward regenerative models, applying the principles of Voisin Rational Grazing.

Lauren Tucker is a regenerative food systems strategist and the founder of reNourish Studio. Co-founder of Kiss the Ground, she works on transforming food systems starting from the soil and communities.
